About Brenda McLaughlin RMT
I have been a Registered Massage Therapist since I graduated from Kikkawa College in 1994. I love what I do and feel very fortunate that I can assist people to work towards their optimum health, whether it is with Deep Tissue, Rehabilitative or Relaxation Massage Techniques.
Why Choose Massage Therapy?
Massage has become recognized for its therapeutic benefits when treating muscle conditions such as strains, spasms, and sciatica-like pain, but it is also a great complementary treatment for your overall health and wellness.
It is the hands-on manipulation of deep and superficial muscles, joints and connective tissue, to promote greater circulation of blood flow to increase flexibility and decrease pain. The overall effect of the treatment can also promote relaxation and a sense of well-being for the client.
There is no greater gift than the personal interaction between practitioner and client and I take that trust very seriously with each of my clients.
Massage is also is beneficial when looking for relief from stress in our everyday lives as it can reduce associated conditions such as high blood pressure, migraines, and headaches. People often report that they feel more invigorated and have a greater sense of body awareness which is important for the monitoring of our health.
